Audio/Video Information and Services - San Diego and Arizona Offices
To truly enjoy a home sound or theater system, special attention must be placed on speaker and component locations. Sound travels in specific manners. High and low frequencies have their own properties and a poorly designed home theater system will provide less that optimal performance. We have come across sound systems that because of the placement, wiring and design, some frequencies were actually canceling each other out. This resulted in a whole frequency range being missing. Having a hard wired system sound system with high quality components will provide the best quality; however, when adding equipment in an existing home or office that is not always possible. Today there are many wireless devices and technologies in use such as headphone, computer networks, phones and remote controls that use a variety of light and sound frequencies. It is common to see the wrong combination of signals interfering with each other and providing intermittent and low quality results. If you are experiencing these types of problems give us a call at (858) 541-1097 or click here to contact us and we may assist you in getting the most out of your electrical and electronic equipment.
New Construction - Audio/Video
In new construction we design the sound system based on the clients requirements. Using the blueprints and finish
specifications, we can network wiring throughout the structure. It is always best to run low voltage wiring for audio/video before the finish work while the structure is open. Post finish work requires us to snake wire within walls, etc and may even necessitate the need to open walls. While we do this regularly we prefer to avoid invasive construction techniques.
Remodel and Post Finish Construction - Audio/Video
For remodeling and post finish Audio and Video to include speakers, wiring and accessory controllers, often we must snake wires through walls, the attic and the basement. Should the conditions require wiring to be strung along a baseboard or wall we have specialty decorative wire covers and can even create a wire concealing soffit to match your decor.
A combination of hardwired and wireless equipment and accessories works best in post finish or remodeling situations. As long as you check the specifications of your equipment, you can get the best of both worlds without to much trouble or expense.
